FAQ
*Frequently and not-so-frequently asked questions
How do I get to the venue?
Preferably, by shuttle. We have two shuttle buses departing the Horton Grand Hotel at 5:15PM on Saturday, October 14.
Where are you registered?
We are registered at Joy.com, Williams Sonoma, and Food52. Please visit the 'Registry’ tab on our website for more information.
Have you sent RSVP’s?
Yes. RSVPs are closed.
Can I bring my kids?
No. Due to the nature of the venue, this is an adults-only wedding. If you have a newborn and need special accommodations, please reach out to us personally.
Where should I stay?
The Horton Grand Hotel in the Gaslamp District of San Diego. We have secured a hotel block and the nightly rate should be around $250. To book, please go to their website and use the code MC Wedding 2023. You can also book by calling (619) 374 6018 or emailing groups@hortongrand.com.
Do I need to rent a car?
No. The location of all wedding events (with the exception of the optional La Jolla beach day) are in close proximity so that guests do not need to rent a car. We also have a shuttle booked for getting from the Horton Grand Hotel to the wedding venue. Please note that if you do choose to rent a car, parking in Downtown is extremely limited, and daily parking rates for public garages are expensive. The Horton Grand Hotel offers valet parking with unlimited in/out privileges for $50 per day.
What should I wear?
Wedding dress code is semi-formal, but bold and chic. Check out our wedding dress code pinterest board for more inspiration.
